About Us

We're Bluegrass Fleet Care, and we've been a premier auto repair and service center here in Louisville, KY, since 2015. We're family-owned and operated, and we specialize in fleet and contractor services. Our services include custom truck body fabrication, steering suspension, and engine repair and rebuilds. We also restore classic vehicles. With our expertise and high quality workmanship, we can help you keep your vehicle running in tip-top shape. Our Story

Bluegrass Fleet Care was established by owner Bill Salmon in 2015 to meet the area’s need for quality automobile repair services. We are a family-owned and operated business that is well known for our expertise in the industry and our high quality workmanship. Our experts can assist you with any problem, whether it’s restoring classic vehicles, full-service auto repair services, custom fabrication, welding, and more.

We use our modern engines and technology to restore your classic vehicle to brand new! Additionally, we also offer fleet and contractor services that include custom truck body fabrication, meaning we use fabrication machines to create parts that are difficult to find. Class B trucks and down are our specialty, so if you have a truck of that kind or similar, come on down to see if we can fabricate new parts for you!

Another way to create parts is by welding two different materials together to create a stronger, more durable part. We also provide full-service auto repair, which includes maintenance checks and repairs of damaged car parts. For those who want to upgrade their vehicle for competitive driving, we’ve got you covered! Our high performance upgrade services will equip your car with powerful engines, brakes, wheels, and more so your car can perform better and faster.

Our facility is over 10,000 square feet with 10 bays and 6 on-site technicians for faster and more reliable service. It is our main goal to provide excellent and attainable customer service to our customers, which is why we hire only the best and most knowledgeable technicians.

These guys are the best. I needed a new engine in an early '90s handicapped vehicle. There were some challenges with the engine I bought because there was a engine change in that year, but they just worked with me and never gave up. I love the job they did. They were even able to do some fabrication and welding that I needed. They came highly recommended by the owner of the tow truck company that I called for my van. I wasn't disappointed and I would highly recommend them.
